Join us to Top End of Northern Australia, a lazy adventurer's paradise! Darwin is Northern Territory's multi-cultural capital, famed for its markets and festivals, Asian cuisine and massive natural harbour. It is also the perfect base from which to explore the natural treasures of World Heritage-listed Kakadu and Litchfield National Parks as well as the Tiwi Islands. We have lined up a series of exciting experiences for you starting from outback farm experiences to being upclose to wild crocodiles to enjoying a river cruise or paddleboat to dipping into majestic waterfalls.
Day 1 Darwin
Today, we embark on our adventure into the Top End. A colourful blend of frontier charm and modern cosmopolitan attitude, Darwin is an exciting launch pad into the Never Never. We visit the Aquascene to get upclose to the fishes out in the wild. Get orientated around the Darwin city and chill out tonight at the Fisherman’s wharf.
Day 2 Darwin/Kakadu National Park
After an early start from this tropical capital, we take a crocodile spotting cruise. Afterwards venture deep into the wilderness of Kakadu National Park to learn how this landscape helps maintain Indigenous tradition and culture. Kakadu is steeped in Dreamtime history and current significance, from the artwork it contains to the wildlife it nurtures. Accompanied by a local guide, be captivated by the park's ever-changing terrain and untamed beauty.
Day 3 Kakadu National Park/Katherine
After breakfast head out to explore the Kakadu National Park. After lunch travel south out of the park into the historic mining area of Pine Creek. Stop along the way for a refreshing dip in Edith Falls. Settle in for the night at a campsite at the historic Springvale Homestead near the remote town of Katherine.
Day 4 Katherine Gorge
Take a cruise along the stunning Katherine Gorge or explore under your own steam, by paddling a canoe. Heading north again, camp for the night at remote Mt Bundy station.
Day 5 Outback Farm Experience
Witness the waving fields, craggy blue ranges and rural hamlets. Learn about life on the land on this fair dinkum Mt Bundy station. Crack a whip and ride on the horse. Also experience milking a cow at this cattle station.
Day 6 Litchfield National Park/Darwin
Filled with waterholes and waterfalls, Litchfield National Park is a great place to relax. Visit Florence Falls, Wangi Falls and Buley Rockholes and walk through beautiful rainforests.
Day 7 Litchfield National Park/Darwin
The Top End adventure comes to an end on arrival in Darwin. Transfer to Airport or Hotel as per your request.
